Kanjere holds a BSC marketing degree from Malawi Institute of Management, Advanced Diploma Sports Administration (IOC), Diploma Journalism (Poly, Unima), Diploma Marketing Management (MIM), Advanced Sport Management cert.(University of Pretoria) and a Certificate in German Language).
He is also a member of world jury for Fifa Awards and Balon d’Or Award representing Malawi media.
Kanjere is a three-time winner of Misa-Malawi Best Sports Journalist awards, Cosafa Best Journalist 2013.
Peter is a founding president of Sports Writers Association(2011-2017) and the only member for International Sports Press Association.
He is also a Sports Journalism trainer.
