Mac Donald Malema comes from Karonga district, northern part of the country Malawi. He has lived his whole life in Malawi where he did his primary, secondary and tertiary education. He is a professional journalist and Information and Communication Technology engineer as he holds Diploma in Journalism through Malawi Institute of Journalism and ICT with Mzuzu University respectively. He also hold Intermediate Certificate in Mass Communication from Research and Education Academy in Uganda. Mac Donald Malema has attended different sports trainings and he holds different certificates of attendance in sports obtained locally in Malawi. Mac Donald is a veteran sport reporter and presenter. He has worked on a sports desk for more than a decade with the public and state broadcaster Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). Malema has received a number of awards as the best TV and Radio reporter and presenter through different sports disciplines including football.
