Chisomo Mwamadi is a well-known Malawian sports broadcaster with 13 years of experience while working for the national broadcaster Malawi Broadcasting Corporation – MBC as a producer and presenter.
Mwamadi won several sports awards and recognitions over that period including the TNM Super League Best TV Sports reporter and the Standard Bank Cup Best TV journalist among other accolades under his belt.
He has travelled to many parts of the world with the Malawi National team games at different tournaments as a reporter.
He continues to influence the industry even after leaving mainstream media and was the General Secretary of the Sports Writers Association of Malawi (SWAM) and a founding member.
Mwamadi is a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Diploma in Journalism, Certificate in Sports Business Management from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He is currently working with the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation -MBC as Media and Public Relations Manager.
He brings with him lots of experience in sports Marketing and Communication to the foundation.
